Located in Bairro Alto, near Largo de Camões and in the same street that gives its name, As Salgadeiras restaurant is one of Lisbon's most recent gastronomy offer.
Implanted in an ancient bakery, the space was completely remodelled, although it kept the original style that gives it a unique environment. The excellent harmony between the tradicional architecture and a sophisticated but sober decoration jumps to your attention as soon as you enter. The walls made of stone, the original archs, the small red bricks, all come together under a planned luminosity, conferring to each small place of this restaurant an atmosphere of comfort and good taste. From the several details, we focus on the old bakery oven, now converted into a pleasant wine bar and dessert taste room. At the entrance there's a small bar ideal for an aperitif and a nice chat.
